Sagan,

You'd think untouched, natural foods that haven't been processed would be less expensive, but unfortunately my grocery bill goes UP when I focus on buying just the healthy stuff. Makes me want to grow my own produce. I would love, love, love to have a big garden! (I don't have much of a yard currently.) One day, though! One day...

I've never been big on the juice (although champagne and orange juice for breakfast on Christmas morning? Delicious!). But it IS really disappointing, and kind of sad, that it's so difficult to find just plain fruit juice. The same goes for tons of other food... everythings just so loaded with salt and sugar and scary chemicals! Sighs.

Challenge them to an arm wrestle. Loser has to abstain from juice for a month! :)

Mrs. Micah,
And when you do find the quality kind, it's a bit pricey. That's one of the reasons I don't buy it as much as I used to. However, when I do, I water down the juice to make it last longer. Some may call this "tacky", but I prefer to use the term "frugal." :)

Ick. I hear that. I'm not big on fruit juice, but I like to get a little cranberry juice now and then. I've heard that the unsweetened type is best for preventing UTIs and general health. But it's really hard to find real cranberry juice.
