If I feel I "have" to do a 30-minute (or longer), intense workout, I also feel pressure.  Going for a walk after dinner or during my lunch hour is a lot less stressful.  I may not be getting that intense workout, but it's still exercise nonetheless.

Ha!  That's a great idea!  I like butt exercises anyway; I like toning that part of the body (mine could always use some extra help)!  :)

Oh, I'm sure there will be other challenges out there.  The WOMAN Challenge is an annual event, so the next one is scheduled for May 2009.  
And goodness knows that will be here before we know it!!</description>

		<description>i totally agree with this!  if anything i want to do this everyday:  be active throughout the day.  i sit at a desk all day at work too.  congrats on completing the challenge! :)  sounds interesting, and if i heard about it i would've definitely participated in it!</description>

		<description>Being active throughout the day is a nice way to accommodate for a busy schedule, and that way if your plans get derailed at least you've done a bit to compensate for it!  Also if you need an excuse to stand, do a huge amount of squats one day or go for an extra long bike ride.  The next day your butt will be so sore that sitting down won't be something you'll want to do! :)</description>

		<description>It's so true that we tend to think of "workouts" as this one thing we have to do, which can be daunting, rather than trying to fit in exercise whenever we can.  I love after dinner walks, like you mentioned, and those miles add up!</description>
